Infinity Edge Pool – The Dunlap Project

Lakeside Infinity Edge Pool with Spa, Boulder Waterfall & Firepit

The Dunlap Project is one of our favorite infinity edge pool designs. There was a significant slope to the lake. This facilitated a multi-level design for the backyard. By placing the infinity edge pool on the lakeside of the pool we achieved a true infinity edge pool effect where the water in the pool blends into the lake making the pool appear endless.

Stone was used throughout the project for both the spa and the firepit. The pool decking was stamped concrete with a finish that made it appear to be stone as well. The raised spa spills into the Pebble Tec finished pool next to a sun shelf pool entry. The boulder waterfall was constructed with real boulders and the water feature is impressive.

There’s something utterly relaxing and mesmerizing about gazing across water that seems to never end. Strikingly beautiful, infinity edge pools create this effect of stretching out forever and blending into the horizon.
